venous conditions

Venous insufficiency is a condition in which blood does not flow correctly through the veins. This results in blood pooling in the veins of your legs and causes issues such as Spider Veins, Varicose Veins, leg swelling and heaviness, and even Venous Ulcerations.

Spider Veins

Tiny, superficial veins that are visible on the surface of the skin.

Varicose Veins

Enlarged, rope-like veins that one can feel under the skin and these can no longer effectively support healthy blood flow.

Venous Ulcerations

Leg ulcers are often a symptom of advanced venous insufficiency.

Treatments

Endovenous Laser

When using this ablation treatment for varicose veins, a small laser is guided by ultrasound imaging in an incisionless procedure that causes heat energy to collapse the problematic veins.

Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy is a quick, simple, painless injection treatment for spider veins and smaller varicose veins to make them disappear.

Microphlebectomy

Varicose veins can also be removed in a minimally-invasive procedure that uses a series of 2-3 millimeter microincisions.
