We are so excited to open the doors of our brand-new facility and second location of the Vein Institute of South Mississippi! Now, our many Gulf Coast patients no longer have to make the drive to Hattiesburg for excellent vein care. It’s centrally located in the D’Iberville Promenade shopping center behind Chick-fil-A, allowing for convenient access to the entire MS Gulf Coast. We are located on the ground level with easy handicap accessibility and parking right outside our front door. As soon as you walk through the doors of our newly renovated office, our staff looks forward to welcoming you and preparing you for your appointment. We invite you to enjoy a cup of coffee during your brief wait time and relax in our comfortable waiting area. Dr. J Keith Thompson, a board-certified vein specialist, looks forward to providing you with the best, most experienced vein care on the entire MS Gulf Coast! Our goal at all of our locations is to offer you exceptional, customized vein care from your initial consultation until your final treatment.

I am so thankful for the entire staff and Dr Keith Thompson. I have went from no sleep because of the pain in my legs to I can sleep with no pain. I have had three treatments for varicose veins on my right leg and I have to say I am so amazed by the changes in my ankle and leg. I did not go in expecting cosmetic changes, I was solely worried about a bleeding vein on the front of my leg that landed me in the ER. Everyone at the VI are professional and compassionate. I’ve had multiple appointments and I’ve never had to wait. The ladies at the front desk helped me get everything cleared with my insurance and they called me with updates prior to my first appointment. If you are need of a vascular surgeon this is the place. Everything is done in the office with minimal pain.
